As the cost of rent in Los Angeles continues to rise, it is becoming increasingly difficult for lower-income middle-class individuals to find affordable housing options.
These individuals, who make up a significant portion of the workforce in essential professions such as teaching, nursing, and first responding, are often referred to as the "Missing Middle."
They work in middle-class jobs and earn below the Area Median Income (AMI) thresholds thereby qualifying for rental assistance but have historically been underserved in terms of affordable housing options.
If left unchecked, this crisis will only continue to worsen as the cost of housing continues to increase. That's where FNX Development comes in. We are dedicated to creating innovative solutions to the affordable housing crisis in Los Angeles, particularly for the "Missing Middle."
